During welcome week, Senior House went to watch Venus Williams play at the US Open.   She’s gone quite a long way, and today she still ranks as number 19 at the age of 34!  Watching her play with such endurance and focus, was great inspiration before the school year, because sometimes college and living in this city can feel like playing a long grueling but thrilling match.

Hey Seniors, check out this event hosted by the Center for Multicultural Education and Programs. It will be a great experience to learn about the state of social justice and of the racial profiling that still happens today. As upperclassmen and old New York habitants, it is good to be role models in a city that is full of diversity and cultural differences.
